Joy Juice is a tincture to help uplift and bring joy . A sweet and strengthening blend to add a little lightness to your spirit, a little spring in your step, a little rose colour in your glasses. To help you find the joy that got lost along the way

This herbal tincture is a light and uplifting blend of two of my favourite herbs. Its the perfect addition to your favourite cocktail, mocktail or soda water to bring joy!

Mimosa - Known as The Happiness Tree, mimosa has been used in Chinese medicine for 2000 years. Mimosa flowers have a beautiful silky appearance and a very sweet and beautiful scent.  Traditionally used to calm and lighten the spirit, relieving emotional heaviness associated with mood swings, sadness, and irritability.  Mimosa helps people to remember what joy feels like after profound loss, grief, and heart break.

Tulsi - One of the most sacred plants in India, tulsi has a long and illustrious history as both a spiritual and medicinal herb. From the mint family and easy to grow in the New Zealand climate, tulsi is thought to potentially have adaptogenic qualities, making it a perfect remedy for building resilience to the stresses of the modern world. Tulsi may also be of benefit for headaches and digestive issues associated with stress. In addition it has uplifting, strengthening and elevating vibes for the nervous system and is thought to bring happiness and joy.

This tincture is handmade from scratch by me using mimosa flowers foraged from the North Island of New Zealand alongside tulsi grown in the Aetheria garden . It harnesses the full solar and lunar light of a full month and is made in the old way. The old way honours the herbs and the relationships that a herbalist has with them. The daily shaking of jars, the straining, the love and thought that goes into each and every bottle. This is the way of the past and definitely the way to the lightness of the future that I want to see.
